Apple Unveils New iPad Version

Apple Inc unveiled a new version of iPad. It has a sharper display and can connect to the Internet on 4G broadband networks. The network's speed will be around 10 times faster than current 3G technology. The new iPad will have a 9.7 inch (24.63 cm screen) and a high-resolution "retina" display. It will have a 5 megapixel camera.

The new iPad will start at $499 for Wi-Fi only models. However, the models with 4G speeds will start at $629, excluding wireless-service plans. iPad 3 will be available from March 16 in the US, UK, Canada, France and Germany. Apple's CEO Tim Cook also unveiled a new $99 Apple TV set-top box.
